The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Texas VA Health Care System is soliciting proposals to provide GeneXpert Services IAW the Statement of Work. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about November 3, 2020, with a closing date for proposals on or about November 10, 2020. The solicitation will be available for download from Contract Opportunities at beta.SAM.gov. Interested contractors may download copies of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. No hard copies will be made available. The solicitation provides full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the Contract Opportunities website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. The government will perform a comparative evaluation in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3) to evaluate offers and anticipates making a single award of fixed price contract for this requirement. The NAICS Code is 811219. The solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit proposals which shall be considered by the Agency. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base at sam.gov. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays should they be selected for a contract award.
