The system will be procured and installed by the vendor and their services shall include the first twelve months of service. TEXAS VALLEY COASTAL BEND VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM VEHICLE TELEMATICS STATEMENT OF WORK Vehicle Global Positioning Tracking System and Installation: Provide the equipment, installation, training and the ability to track vehicle movements for the Texas Valley Coastal Bend VA Health Care System (TVCBVAHCS) vehicles. Background: As part of the ongoing effort to provide better management of the TVCBVAHCS fleet; the GPS devices approved by GSA Fleet will help the Fleet Coordinator determine the best utilization, provide greater safety, correct bad driving habits and speeding, determine vehicle right sizing, predict preventive maintenance scheduling and reduce fuel costs. Scope of Work: Provide the hardware, installation, training and wireless GPS tracking and fleet management for 112 vehicles. Provide web-based solution/software capable of viewing all the vehicles equipped with GPS from anywhere within the continental United States. Installation of equipment is to be done onsite at the WTVAHCS Fleet Management Parking lot location. GPS hardware equipment for all vehicles must be an exact match as wells a plug and play into OBII port. Duty Hours: Contractor personnel shall notify the COR when arriving on station, prior to commencing work for any repairs or service that shall be performed during the normal working hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm excluding federal holidays. All service/repairs shall be performed during normal business hours unless requested and approved by COR. Federal holidays include: New Years' Day Labor Day Martin Luther King Day Columbus Day Presidents' Day Veterans' Day Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day Independence Day Christmas Day Performance Period: Delivery should start September of 2020 or sooner and complete installations within 90 days of award.
