How many alarms will be installed on 2nd floor and how many alarms will be installed on the first floor? See Above. Of the 4 desk consoles will they be 2 each pre floor? No, there will be 3 on the Second and one on the First. Can you highlight the locations for each alarm on the provide floor plan to include the desk locations? I do not have the ability to do markup on the drawings, the 1st floor will be in 1B145, The 2nd floor will be 2A107, 2B102 and 2A133 Being that this project of for the VA will it be a SDVOSB set-aside? What is the status for site visit? This is set for the 9 April at 10 AM CST. What is the project duration? This is unknow at this time. Is there a drawing that indicates where these 29 rooms and 4 desk consoles are located in the 2 units in bld 94 or do we have to be at the site visit to learn this information? The Second Floor has all the patient Rooms, The first floor are the following rooms: The First Floor would be the rooms 1B117 to 1B124 Are the desk consoles just computers where you would like the system software installed or do you need a keypad such as one that would typically be installed at the nurse s station at each of the work stations? This depends on your system and would be part of your design of the system. The system is a standalone and will not connect to any part of the VA network. What type of system is existing? A very old TOP Door alarm that is still operational Do you want the existing system removed just enough to install the new system or does the existing system need to be entirely removed (wires, devices, control panels, ect..)? Yes, and this will assist in the installation of the new system. Are you requesting just a simple emailed proposal or SF1442? The Proposal needs to contain all important information about the system that is being proposed to include follow on cost, what brand name of system components being planned and any other information that will allow for a clear picture of the proposed system being quoted. This is a Design and install project and will be evaluated not only cost but also the Felix ability to maintain the system after the install and the follow on cost of the system. Are these four separate systems, and the intent is to go back with 4 separate systems? No See Above. Is ordering new doors a consideration or does the facility want to modify existing doors for the new system? We would like to keep the doors in Place if possible, this is why there was a site visit at which you could have made the determination if your system requires the doors to be replaced.
