Question 1: Reference page 21 -Solicitation asks for separate cost to retest each replacement breaker if required. Is this for retesting while on site during completion of the project or on a separate return trip? Answer: This is a onetime testing Question 2: Reference page 21 Solicitation asks for separate cost for each breaker to be repaired if required. Is this pricing for repairing on site during the outage to complete the project? For a separate trip to repair? Is this pricing for sending the breaker(s) to be repaired offsite? Answer: yes, pricing is for repairing on site during outage Question 3: Referring to Question 2, page 11 above On the items identified in question 2, it is very difficult to give product pricing as there is wide variations in the conditions for a breaker repair. This includes and is dependent on various factors including the type of breaker, the repairs needed, how quickly the breaker need to be returned and each variation will all factor into the repair cost. Without more detailed information we are requesting the VA remove this requirement as part of this solicitation. We can only provide pricing if more detailed information is provided or base each instance on a worst case scenario which is not reasonable for the VA or for the contractor. Please provide clarification regarding the following- Answer: the government understand that pricing for the actual repair based on the condition the breaker is in, we will accept pricing for the detailed information giving.
