The purpose of this amendment to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 36C2571256 is to address questions submitted by potential offerors regarding the services outlined within the synopsis/solicitation. Questions: Can you provide a description, photo, or an as-built of the acid neutralization pits? Can you provide the capacity (gallons) or dimensions (width/depth/length) of the 8 acid neutralization pits? What material are the pits they are made of (concrete, steel, plastic)? Is there an incumbent currently performing these services? And can you share who the incumbent contractor is? Answers: We do not have an as built drawing of the pits or could not locate one. The pit is below floor level and the plastic pit is in a concrete round vault. Â The pit has a metal lid that encases the acid pit into the vault. There are 3 flights of stairs down to the pit. All pits are the same size and dimensions. Â The pdf attached has gallons it can handle, dimensions and incoming and outgoing pipe sizes as well as vent size and where they are located on tank The pits are made of a poly pro plastic that is chemical resistant. The current contractor who performs this job is Cactus Environmental services 4960 Singleton Blvd, Dallas, TX 75212 (214-252-5000). Please Note: The Question and Answer period is now closed for this synopsis/solicitation.
