The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO 17), El Paso, TX intends to enter into an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Contractors to provide Perfusion and Surgical First Assistant services to the Ambulatory Surgical Service at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The term of the contract is a base of one year with four one-year option periods. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available January 03, 2020, or shortly thereafter and will be posted via Contract Opportunities on the BetaSam.gov website. Prospective Offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the BetaSam.gov website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a proposal, Offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the scope of work and terms and conditions of the requirement(s). The VA anticipates issuing a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside solicitation for this requirement. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.beta.sam.gov. Interested Contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to Contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the Beta Sam website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. The purpose of this Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. RPO-West NCO 17 Medical Sharing Branch I plans to solicit for a vendor who can provide Health Care Resources services in the form of perfusion, autotransfusion, and conduit harvesting services in accordance with terms and conditions stated hereinto (see attached Performance Work Statement- Draft) to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), on-site at Audie L. Murphy VAMC. RPO-West NCO 17 Medical Sharing Branch I is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential small business concerns (e.g., HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, Women Owned, etc.) with the capability to fulfill this requirement.
