Purchase request Title: Riding lawn mower Statement of function The WTVAHCS requires purchase of one (1) riding lawn mower equal to or better than the Grasshopper Model 325D. This riding lawn mower must have a zero-turn, diesel engine, side discharge, sun shade, and a 7 iron 72 mulch deck. The 30 acres of terrain we maintain at the WTVAHCS consists of rough, uneven grounds. Diesel engines deliver more power and efficiency over gasoline engines and are better suited to perform sizable jobs, especially in 3 digit heat. Over time, because of their efficiency, diesel engines will save both time and money. The mulch deck allows the blades to reduce the grass clipping size which in turn reduce yard waste and actually contribute to a stronger, healthier lawn. Requirements: Zero turn Diesel engine Side discharge Sun Shade - aluminum 7 iron 72 mulch deck Commercial grade INFORMATION SECURITY AND PRIVACY The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required. This utility vehicle will not be connected to the VA network. Vendors will not be on site to set up vehicle.
