Page 2 of 2 The El Paso VA Health Care System (EPVAHCS), located at 5001 N. Piedras, El Paso, TX 79930, intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price award for the purchase of an Arxium OptiFill-II Conveyor to complement previously purchased equipment. The acquisition will take place under the authority of FAR Part 8 Required Sources of Supplies and Services. The EPVAHCS requires a custom built conveyor and software to be compatible with the proprietary OptiFill-II fully functional system. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this equipment must notify the Contract Specialist no later than 4:00 PM EST (3:00 PM CST), 03/19/2019. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of equipment that meets or exceeds the capabilities needed. Notification shall be e-mailed or faxed to Jessica Roman, Contract Specialist, jessica.roman@va.gov, fax: 432-517-4586. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please note that all items must be new; refurbished or used items will not be accepted. Contractors must be authorized distributors/deals; no grey market items will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
