This is a sources sought notice only and the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to pay for the information received in response to this notice. This notice is issued for the purpose of collecting information about the availability of these services from different business types. A separate solicitation will be issued on or about 2/15/2019 to provide the opportunity to submit price proposals. The Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Dallas, TX is seeking potential sources who will be interested in providing Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) Services, to include equipment and related technical support technician services also known as Mobile Lithotripsy Services. The NAICS code is 621512 with a size standard of $15.0M. The lithotripsy technician shall be certified and have an unrestricted license in the State of Texas. Personnel shall work with the attending Urologist and other physicians in the operating room at North Texas VA and shall operate the laser device and any related imaging equipment during the procedure. The contractor shall provide a mobile digital unit that can easily be moved from place to place in the operating rooms at the North Texas VA. The contractor shall provide Mobile ESWL Services for an estimated 36 patients per year.
