This is a Sources Sought Notice and not a request for quotes or proposals. The Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS), located at 6010 Amarillo Blvd. West, Amarillo, TX 79106, intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price award for the purchase of an Electromyograph System. The acquisition will take place under the authority of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and either FAR Part 8 Required Sources of Supplies and Services, or Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Technical Requirements: Shall have base unit hardware with built in with a built-in control panel, an amplifier, an electrical stimulator probe, a laptop computer and system software. The base unit contains an integrated speaker, the electrical stimulator and connectors for optional peripheral devices. Shall have an electrical stimulator is integrated in the base unit for easy usage. Shall have audio output for live signals. Shall connect to computer with USB (2.0) Shall have one trigger input and one trigger output to external devices Shall have advanced signal processing to include signal filtering and sound optimization. Shall have Intel Core 2 Duo, 3.0 ghz, 2GB, Windows 7 32 bit Shall have stimulator Probe with removable tip and adjustable pins Shall have Amplifier 3 channel amplifier 1.5mm DIN connector Shall have Analog to Digital Converter with 48kHz sampling rate Shall have electrode Impedance measurement range of 1 to 1,000k() Shall have sensitivity from 10nv/division to 100mV/division Shall have standard manufacturer commercial warranty Shall include installation and staff training The government is seeking the following sources: SDVOSB & VOSB concerns, vetbiz.gov registered. Small business concerns The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334510. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this equipment must notify the Contract Specialist no later than 4:00 PM EST (3:00 PM CST), 01/21/2019. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of equipment that meets or exceeds the capabilities needed. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please note that all items must be new; refurbished or used items will not be accepted. Contractors must be authorized distributors/deals; no grey market items will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
