J012--Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning, Kitchen Fire Suppression System Service, and Portable Fire Extinguisher Service
NCO 16 is conducting a Sources Sought/RFI for integrated kitchen exhaust cleaning, kitchen fire suppression system service, and portable fire extinguisher service for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Performance locations are the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR, and the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center in North Little Rock, AR. Draft scope includes quarterly/semiannual kitchen hood cleaning, semiannual inspection/testing/maintenance of 10 wet-chemical kitchen fire suppression systems, and inspection, maintenance, recharge, hydrostatic testing, repair, replacement, pickup/return, tagging, and reporting for about 948 portable fire extinguishers. The anticipated contract may have a base period plus four one-year options, though final structure and quantities are undetermined, and contractors must demonstrate ability to perform all three service areas as prime with qualified personnel, required NFPA/UL/manufacturer and Arkansas credentials, calibrated equipment, and digital service records. Interested parties should submit concise capability statements addressing company and socioeconomic status, relevant past performance, staffing and response capability, quality control/reporting, contract vehicles, and credential matrices for themselves or proposed subcontractors.
