The VA is conducting market research via a Sources Sought/RFI for round-trip courier services supporting the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA, and its CBOCs in Monroe, LA; Longview, TX; and Texarkana, TX. The contractor would transport pharmaceuticals, laboratory specimens, medical supplies, administrative materials, and small equipment up to 50 lbs per item between OBVAMC, the three CBOCs, and designated non-VA medical facilities, providing all personnel, supervision, vehicles, equipment, licenses, insurance, materials, and management. The purpose is to assess contractor interest, capabilities, qualifications, nonmanufacturer-rule/Buy American/Trade Agreement compliance, and estimated industry pricing for market research and budgetary purposes. Interested firms are asked to provide company and business-size information, SAM identifiers, proof of relevant qualifications, certification evidence, descriptive literature, relevant contract references, and estimated pricing. This is an RFI only; no solicitation exists at this time and no contract will be awarded from the notice.
