This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside for a firm-fixed-price construction contract at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The contractor will furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to remove and replace two operating room chillers in Building 100, including general construction, demolition, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related work. The period of performance is 432 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, solicitation documents are expected to be available electronically on or about October 13, 2026, and a 90-day proposal acceptance period will be required. The estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. A bid bond is required with the proposal, performance and payment bonds will be required from the awardee, at least 15 percent of contract performance personnel costs must be spent on the concern’s employees or eligible SDVOSB employees, and offerors must be registered in SBA VetCert and SAM.
