The South Central VA Health Care Network intends to establish a firm fixed-price BPA with a one-year base and four one-year options for waived point-of-care whole blood glucose testing devices, including data management, installation, training, and connectivity with the VA VistA Lab Information System. The required equipment must be FDA-approved for professional use, support barcoding, lock-out operators for QC failures, and detect expired test strips, while the data management system must capture, validate, and report QC data and transmit results to VA systems.
