The contractor must provide two pre-trained German Shorthair Pointer dogs, aged 12 to 24 months, along with training for the dogs and two VA Police handlers, including all necessary supplies. If a dog fails to meet certification standards within six months of the contract award, it must be replaced at no additional cost.
