What are the HEPA cart requirements if any? Where would we be expected to use the HEPA cart, and will the facility be providing the cart or does AFIC need to provide it? There will be no government furnished equipment on this project. Drawings provided will get you as close to the locations as possible the winning offered will provide a new set of drawings with all locations marked as part of this requirement. 8.The scope mentions repairing fire dampers that are determined to need repairs. Please confirm if these repairs are to be billed separately. This is a firm fixed priced contract no additional bills will be accepted. 9.The scope requires grouping work so that only one air handling system is shut down at a time, with the system operational two hours before the next business day. Could you please confirm how many air handling units are on site, and how many dampers are served by each? This detail will significantly impact scheduling and production. Part of the contract report provided by the vendor as part of this inspection will be to determine what air handlers are connected to the dampers. 10.The scope states: Provide a list of all inaccessible damper locations and recommended actions for access. Recommendations will include descriptions of work to correct the access issue and cost estimate for corrections to make them accessible. Please confirm whether this requirement involves relocating mechanical systems. The vendor is responsible to determine the most effective plan to correct issues when they present it to the station. 11.The scope references inspections of 103 units within 30 days of NTP, 103 within 60 days, and 103 within 90 days. Would it be acceptable to complete the project in a continuous sequence from start to finish, rather than remobilizing three times? The vendor will determine their project work and coordinate with the COR prior to start of the project for they sequence that will be most beneficial to all parties. 12.What are the Superintendent requirements? Superintendent will be the direct coordinator to the COR and ensure all documentation is in compliance. They will ensure all proper hot work and work requirements are being followed on each damper. 13.If SSHO is required, can the Superintendent act as the SSHO? The tools for each job are minimal unless a door needs to be cut. After that the contractor should bring their tools back with them. 16.Is the Subcontractor's Past Performance acceptable?
