Notice of Intent to Sole Source. If there are no responses to this notice, a determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government to sole source the requirement. No response is a response. Government request that interested offerors complete all questions below, provide required documentation, descriptive literature and authorization letter as described below. Objective: To find qualified and certified contractors with the capability to provide the following: The Alexandria VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) in Alexandria, LA is seeking home sleep apnea testing that will provide direct mail order service allowing our facility to expand patient access, reduce patient backlog and scale our home sleep apnea testing program quickly with no upfront costs and minimal time & effort from our staff. The following request is for home sleep apnea testing utilizing peripheral arterial tonometry to diagnose sleep apnea utilizing direct mail order services to schedule the home sleep testing with patients, prepare and ship device to the patient, provide 24/7 support for patients, assure the patients perform the test timely, return any non-disposable equipment (if any) to company and arrange for a board certified sleep physician to interpret the study.
