The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification. Please see the attached document which contains a Sources Sought Notice and Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Elevator Safety and Maintenance Inspection at the Michael E. DeBakey Medical Center (MEDVAMC), 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston Texas Tx 77030. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 16 HOUSTON, TX In Support of the Michael E. DeBakey (MEDVAMC) REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) 36C25624Q1184 Description of Requirements: Government is seeking a contractor to furnish elevator inspection services. Contractor to furnish elevator inspection services on all forty-nine (49) elevators located at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, Texas that are identified in Section 9 of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) safety code for elevators and escalators (ANSI/ASME A17.1) to include local, state, and federal regulations. It is the intent of the Government to issue a competitive Single award Firm Fixed Price type solicitation (Base Plus (4) four 12-month Option Periods) after all market research has been completed.
