DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) has a requirement for preventive maintenance and repair services on various pieces of medical equipment at its facility located at 2002 Holcombe Blvd. in Houston, TX 77030. This is a total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 811210. All interested parties must be listed in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, as of the date of award. Award WILL NOT be delayed for registration. Interested parties must submit all questions concerning the solicitation, in writing, via email to james.hunt2@va.gov, to be received no later than 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Questions submitted after this date/time may not be answered. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) has a requirement for preventive maintenance and repair services on various pieces of medical equipment at its facility located at 2002 Holcombe Blvd. in Houston, TX 77030. The contractor shall provide all parts, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to provide preventative and corrective maintenance and support services on Hill-Rom beds, Hill-Rom and Stryker stretchers, and various manufacturers’ lasers. Equipment must be maintained to comply with all applicable codes and manufacturers’ recommended specifications for safe operation. The contract is expected to be firm, fixed-price for one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Interested parties should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and associated documents on or about February 21, 2024, which will contain the specific instructions and work requirements. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 811210, with a small business size standard of $34,000,000.
