This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25624Q0006 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will provide all reports, labor, management, equipment, supplies, transportation, applicable licenses, permits, other items and services necessary to perform the removal and disposal of general scrap, scrap metal, and pallets at Overton Brooks VAMC located at 510 East Stoner Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana 71101, for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor will perform to the standards in the contract and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations for a base period and four (4) Option Years (OY). Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 562111 (Solid Waste Collection) and the size standard is $41.5 Million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04 (06/02/2023).
