No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR has a requirement for two (2) General Surgeons to cover the range of GENERAL SURGERY services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding, currently recognized national standards of the American Association for General Surgeons. This requirement is expected to be posted as a 100% SDVOSB or VOSB Set-Aside. Please only respond if your organization is a certified SDVOSB or Certified VOSB. The Contractor shall propose a minimum of 2 key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract. The Contract is anticipated to have a period of performance of a 1 Year Base Period from 1 August 2023 – 31 July 2024 with four 1-Year option periods to be exercised as necessary at the discretion of the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR. This requirement is expected to be posted as a SDVOSB or VOSB Set Aside. The Offeror shall propose a minimum of 2 key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract. The physicians will have to be credentialed and privileged and also have current background checks before being allowed to begin services. Offeror’s capability to meet this requirement to include how they would meet schedule coverage (to include on-call) and demonstrate how best the VA could set up pricing schedule to allow for better offers to include break down of expenses that your company would submit billing for.
