The Contractor shall provide Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Physician Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Overton Brooks VAMC, 510 E Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA 71101. Services shall be provided for the period from 1 January 2023 through 31 December 2027 with 14 days of coverage per month in 12-hour blocks from Sunday – Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The contractor’s physician(s)’ care shall cover the range of Pulmonary/Critical Care services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting, or exceeding, currently recognized national standards as established by the American College of Chest Physicians: http://www.chestnet.org/Guidelines-and-Resources/Guidelines-and-Consensus-Statements/Evidence-Based-Medicine-Overview. The Contractor shall propose a minimum of two key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract.
