This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement is for brand name or Equal products and will be evaluated using the comparative evaluation process outlined in FAR 13.106-2 (b) (3), where quotations will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the Government. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 36C25623Q1971. It is issued as a Request for Quote. The Government anticipates awarding one firm-fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04 (eff. 06/02/2023) and VAAR Update 2008-37 (eff. 07/28/2023). There is currently no EEG machine in Biloxi and an EEG machine in Pensacola that is > 10 years old. The facility has hired two Neurologists, one each for the Biloxi and Pensacola campuses, who will be ordering EEGs, bedside and ambulatory, at both clinics. All EEGs for Pensacola have been sent to the community for care and all EEGs for Biloxi for the last four years have been sent to the community for care. This purchase will replace the machine in Pensacola, add ambulatory monitoring in Pensacola, add bedside and ambulatory services in Biloxi, allow remote viewing and interpretation for physicians at and across all clinics, and recall patient care from the community.
