Can you clarify what the unit of measure is, being that this is an as-needed service? The 150 quantity is EA, but it means number of trips per year. Is there an incumbent or is this a new solicitation? The incumbent is Crown Based Services, LLC. If incumbent, what was the previous award? The previous award total contract price for the base and four options years was $157,605.00. How far advance will notice be given for pick up and drop offs? Per the Statement of Work, page 5, #2., in the solicitation, the vendor will be contacted via telephone when services are required. If services are to be provided, notification will normally be made within 15 minutes of the required arrival time on the same day that service is requested. The 15-minute expected arrival time is not meant to put a driver in any situation that may cause the unsafe operation of a vehicle.
