Bid Request Contractor shall furnish all Services to support and provide the following: The purpose of this requirement is to provide rental storage of eight (8) Mobile Storage Containers (40 ) foot long, in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) New Orleans, LA. Storage containers will be delivered and stored at the Michoud Warehouse, 4301 Poche Court West, New Orleans, LA 70129. The Storage Containers will store items needed for the National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NVWG) and will house items such as furniture. The turn in furniture is from three (3) clinics and will be moved to the warehouse until it can be properly disposed of creating additional spacing issues. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this potential acquisition is The NAICS code is 493190 with a size standard of $36.5 M. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-07. CONCERNS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO CALL THE INDIVIDUAL VAHCS, REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION. 1. REQUIREMENT: One year maximum, rental of eight (8) 40 ft Storage Containers, this may be only 3 months but will not exceed 12 months. The units must not leak and must be of good enough condition to allow for easy access and secure storage for furniture and related items. 3. Period of Performance: The requested Period of Performance (POP) is from 28 August 2023 to 27 August 2024. One year or until no longer needed. 4. Specific Tasks: a. Delivery around August 28 or soon thereafter and pick up of Storage Containers as requested, for a period of up to 12 months. Some Storage Containers may be requested to be turned in as the need for storage decreases. The need for storage and the amount of items on hand will be the deciding factor, however, the rental will not exceed 12 months and is anticipated for less.
