This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25623Q1671_1 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will provide solid waste pickup for the Overton Brooks VAMC. It shall minimize spills and the exposure of waste to the environment during collection. The goal is to improve cleanliness, improve aesthetics, reduce infestation and promote healthier surroundings, for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor will provide solid waste pickup for a base period and four (4) Option Years (OY). Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 562111 (Solid Waste Collection) and the size standard is $47 Million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04 (01/30/2022). Only emailed requests received directly from the requester will be accepted. RESPONSES ARE DUE, August 28, 2023, by 3:00 p.m. Central Time (CT). Quotes are due electronically to Kimberly.anderson6@va.gov no later than the response date listed on FBO. Only electronic quotes will be considered.
