This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25623Q1364 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will provide and install access control equipment for the Emergency Department exterior entrances for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System Facility. All equipment must meet manufacturers and VA specifications and work with the existing access control equipment already in place, for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) and the size standard is $16.5 Million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04 (06/02/2023).
