VISN-wide Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Automated Microbiological Blood Culture Testing Equipment, Reagents and Supplies for VISN 16 VA Medical Centers located at: Fayetteville, AR Little Rock, AR Alexandria, LA New Orleans, LA Shreveport, LA Biloxi, MS Jackson, MS Houston, TX DESCRIPTION OF AGREEMENT: It is the intent of the Department of Veterans Affairs, (herein afterwards referred to as VISN) to establish a Cost-Per-Test (CPT) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Automated Microbiological Blood Culture Systems. The Government will award a CPT BPA to a single manufacturer for Automated Microbiological Blood Culture Analysis Systems, proprietary reagents, blood culture bottles, and related items. The BPA shall include Contractor provision of automated blood culture instrumentation, installation, training, preventative maintenance, repair, reagents, consumables, parts, and interfacing of instrumentation to the VA VistA lab information system through Data Innovations middleware. The Contractor agrees to the following terms of the BPA exclusively with the VISN facilities listed above. However, as requirements change, facilities within VISN may be added or deleted by supplemental agreement of the Government and the Contractor. Additional tests/reagents/instrumentation may be added to the BPA as new technology becomes available on the market.
