This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25623Q0519 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will provide an accreditation preparation consultant team to assess the readiness for The Joint Commission Survey for the Michael E. DeBakey Medical Center (MEDVAMC), Houston, TX. It shall also include accreditation assessments and three education sessions, for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor will provide services annually for a base period and four (4) Option Years (OY). Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services) and the size standard is $21.5 Million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04 (01/30/2022).
