To supply blood, blood products and services to the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS) in Biloxi, MS in conjunction with the Veteran Affairs (VA) Blood and Blood Products/Supplies and Services requirement which are as follows: Supplies and Services, Non-Personal: Contractor shall provide supplies and non-personal services to include all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, transportation and applicable licenses and permits necessary to provide blood and blood products/services to the GCVHCS (Biloxi) in accordance with the enclosed requirements and as recommended in the current editions of the Standard for Blood Banks and Transfusion Services and the Technical Manual of the Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB). The Government may evaluate the quality of supplies and services provided but retains no control over the medical aspects of services rendered. Period and Place of Performance: The period of Performance will be a base year and four (4) one year option periods exercised at the Government s discretion. Performance shall start no-later-than three (3) to five (5) calendar days after award. Place of Performance shall be Contractor s facility with delivery of blood and blood products to GCVHCS.
