PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) has a requirement for courier services located near their facilities at 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston TX 77030. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Interested parties should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and associated documents between 04/10/2023 – 04/14/2023, which will contain the specific instructions and work requirements. Â The solicitation will be issued as a total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside under NAICS code 492110 with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. The contract is expected to be a firm, fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract, with a 60-month ordering period. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No pricing is being requested at this time. Please monitor Contracting Opportunities for issuance of the actual solicitation to download the associated solicitation documents. Telephone and fax requests for this notice will not be accepted. No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. All interested parties must be registered and active as a SDVOSB in System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, and the Small Business Administration s Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov at the time an offer or quotation is submitted and at the time of award. Award will NOT be delayed to allow time for registration. It is recommended that your firm register immediately in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI) number. The purpose of updating this pre-solicitation is to notify industry of the following: 1) The contract is expected to be a firm, fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract, with a 60-month ordering period. 2) Interested parties should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and associated documents between 04/10/2023 – 04/14/2023, which will contain the specific instructions and work requirements.
