THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks (VHSO) in Fayetteville, Arkansas, has a requirement titled "Correct MRI ADA Deficiencies for project number 564-17-106, per issue for construction Drawings and Specifications. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). At least 25 percent of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel shall be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of other eligible SDVOSB concerns. Please do not send questions to this notice as it is only a Pre-Solicitation Notice. Questions will be accepted only after the solicitation has been published. The Contractor must furnish all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, consumables, parts, and related services, in accordance with the SOW, drawings, and specifications to fully complete the renovation to correct the MRI ADA deficiencies by adding a new dressing room and restroom and reconstruct the existing restroom and dressing room for ADA compliance. Additionally, the contract requires the addition of a handwashing sink, a patient lift, and the replacement of one of the MRI room doors. The project will include, but is not limited to, all rework and addition of MEP, finishes, and substrates. This is a phased project and must be completed in accordance with the contract drawings; partial access to the MRI suite and full access to the MRI rooms and support areas must be maintained throughout the project. Electronic Portable Document Format (.pdf) copies of drawings and specifications to this work will be furnished by VA upon Contractor s written request to the Contracting Officer (CO). Contractor is responsible to verify existing and new dimensions, locations, and quantities to complete this project located in Building 2 on the VHSO Main Campus 1100 N. College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 727 Solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, will be available electronically on or about July 26, 2022, on this website. Hard copies will not be mailed. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. ADDITIONALLY, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SITE FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS TO THE SOLICITATION NOTICE. A 120-day proposal acceptance period will be required. A bid bond must be submitted with the proposal. Performance and Payment bonds will be required from the contractor receiving the award. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code assigned to this construction project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 million in average annual receipts for the past three (3) years. Offerors shall be registered at the Vendor Information Pages at www.vip.vetbiz.gov, in System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.betasam.gov and have completed online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov prior to the solicitation due date. Offerors shall be registered with the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition.
