Please see the attachment/link for the Microscopes Description 2.1. The Contractor will furnish all labor, transportation, materials, and expertise necessary to provide the VHSO with 4 each microscopes with the specified configuration. 3. Salient Characteristics: 3.1. Must not exceed the following dimensions: 3 Feet Height X 3 Feet Length X 3 Feet Width. 3.2. Must be capable of being disinfected. 3.3. Must be capable of automatic change of observation conditions and adjustment of microscope accessories. 3.4. Must have multi-color fluorescent imaging capabilities. Must be equipped with a motorized epi-fluorescence illuminator capable of quick wavelength change. 3.5. Must be capable of photoactivation imaging. Must be equipped with a flexible stratum structure. Must be capable of using Objectives for transmission of long-wavelength laser. 3.6. Must be capable of simultaneous multichannel imaging. Must enable the acquiring of simultaneous, two channel images on separate cameras. 3.7. Must be capable of multiphoton imaging. Must be capable of utilizing Objectives dedicated to multiphoton imaging. Must incorporate a high-sensitivity multiphoton detector. Must be equipped with a retrofittable focusing nosepiece mechanism. 3.8. Must be motorized and allow high precision motorized focusing. Must be capable of using motorized accessories. 4. Delivery Schedule: 4.1. The requested equipment is required now and will be delivered to the VHSO as soon as possible. 4.2. The Contractor will ensure all deliverables are delivered to the following address and reference the VA’s purchase order number as an Attn: line in the shipping address: Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks, Attn: Purchase Order #, Warehouse Building 8, 1100 N. College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72703. 5. Contractor Requirements: 5.1. Upon arrival at VHSO, the Contractor shall be required to log in with VA Police Dispatch to obtain a contractor badge. The contractor will always visibly wear the badge while on VHSO premises and will be required to turn in the badge before leaving VHSO premises. 5.2. The Contractor shall not perform any service or provide any item that is outside the scope of work without the written approval of the Contracting Officer.
