Debakey Veteran Affairs Medical Center (MEDVAMC) located at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard. Houston, Texas, hereby issues the following Sources Sought to Request Information (RFI) with the intent of determining the contractor interest, capabilities, qualifications of potential businesses, nonmanufacturer rule compliance, Buy American Act compliance, Trade Agreement compliance and estimated industry pricing information for market research and estimated budgetary purpose for the name brand or equal product Natus EEG Systems. The name brand or equal product will consist of one each fixed EEG system, two each portable EEG system with the required software, installation, and training for the EEG systems. Contractor shall provide all shipping, equipment, personnel, labor, installation, and on-site training for name brand or equal product Natus EEG Systems. This Sources Sought is published for market research purposes. This Sources Sought will be used to determine if a set-aside for any small business program is appropriate. Shall come with an EEG/sleep combo software package. Shall be capable of simple set up, collection, review, analysis, and reporting. Shall be capable of multiple spike and event analysis plus many additional advanced trending options and Physiologic monitoring integration options. Shall be capable of spike and seizure detection components high resolution video. Shall come with a visual montage editor, integrated camera options, and be capable of fully synchronized full HD video. Shall be capable of up to 96 hours of full HD video, wirelessly synchronized with EEG. Shall be capable of data sharing in multi-site environments including automated export and import to remote locations. Shall be capable of two data streams which stream data directly to a server for reliability, security, and efficient clinical and research workflow. Shall be SDK capable for direct data access for research. Shall come with built-in HIPAA compliance software for role-based operation with Active Directory integration. Shall possess a centralized and efficient software update process. Shall be equipped with high-definition USB ports, an internal SD card storage space to record up to 96 hours of ambulatory EEG data, and be capable of blue tooth pairing. Shall be capable of integrating with a range of wired and wireless EEG amplifiers with 32- to 256- channels, plus differential and DC channel options. Shall be capable of a range of sampling rates from 200 Hz to 16 kHz. Shall be capable of performing EEG recordings in DC mode. Shall be capable of advanced digital trigger input, up to 256 trigger values. Shall enable role-based security access to features and studies. Shall possess automated power recovery. Shall come with network capabilities with HL7 for remote reading. Shall come with real-time acquisition review. Shall come with Laplacian referencing. Shall come with installation and training. Shall come with Neuro software upgrades included as long as platform is supported. Shall come with 24-inch FP monitor. 4. Small Business Concerns are encouraged to provide responses to this Sources Sought in order to assist the MEDVAMC in determining potential levels of competition available in the industry.
