This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). A solicitation is forthcoming and is anticipated to be released no later than mid July. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care Systems (SLVHCS), in New Orleans, is anticipating setting this requirement aside 100% for small business to locum(s) companies for the below positions: 2 Physical Therapist(s) 2 Occupational Therapist(s) Recreation Therapist Seeking highly qualified staff that are local and will not involve airfare travel to minimize costs. Station is currently unable to recruit these positions. Seeking one contractor to provide all positions. Services shall be provided at SLVHCS, 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Anticipated BASE period of twelve months (GSA FSS schedule) but could go as much as five years (Open market) depending on responses. Actual start date of candidates will be after completion of credentialing and background check. Anticipate start September 1 or as early as mid-August. NOTE: The NAICS code is 561320, Temporary Help Services, applies and the Size Standard is $30.0 million.
