STATEMENT OF WORK SCOPE Contractor shall furnish all materials, parts, equipment, and tools for the below listed Anoxomat III Jar 1 Gas System for the Microbiology Laboratory at the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030. All equipment shall be brand new, and all work shall be done in a first-class manner. The contract price shall be firm-fixed, all inclusive not limited to specified products/equipment, installation, and setup/configuration. BACKGROUND The Microbiology Laboratory uses the Anoxomat III Jar 1 Gas System for creating anaerobic, microaerophilic, and/or other custom environments with exact, repeatable environmental conditions with gas mixtures within desired values. Complete anaerobiosis can be reached in 3 minutes, faster than standard methods, for unmatched organism quality and recovery and will alert the operator of any leakage. The reusable jars eliminate the need for separate anaerobic/microaerophilic incubators, the need to purchase different types of gas kits and has a smaller footprint than the typical anaerobic chambers thereby reducing the operating space by approximately 65%.
