This notice is being issued for market research purposes only. This notice is not a Request for Quotation or Proposal (RFQ/RFP), and a solicitation is not being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition methodology. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested may assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition methodology. SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16, is seeking SDVOSB vendors that can provide the following services for: South Central VA Healthcare System, 715 South Pear Orchard Road, Ridgeland, MS 39157: Furniture Moving & Furniture Assembly Services (VISN 16 Ridgeland, MS). Services include management, tools, and labor (4-6 installers and helpers per day), except in cases where COR determines that additional help is foreseen. Contractor may routinely relocate furniture between sites of moves consisting of less than five staff. Any excess furniture/equipment shall be relocated to VISN 16 Warehouse located at 755 Stonewall Street, Jackson, MS 39213. The contractor will be responsible for keeping inventory of all unused furniture during relocation. Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be no longer than 15 business days. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified and capable sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 484210. Responses to this RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this RFI, a decision will be made on the acquisition strategy and oral quotes will be requested. Please indicate the size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business (SB), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc. If you are interested and capable of providing the sought-out services, please provide the requested information as well as the information indicated below. Response to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: Is your company considered small under the NAICS code identified under this RFI? Does your company have an FSS contract with GSA, VA NAC, or any other federal contract, that can be utilized to procure the requirement listed above? If so, please provide the contract number. Please submit your capabilities that show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that you can meet the requirement described. Please provide your Unique Entity Identification (UEI) formerly DUNS number.
