Statement of Work Portable Storage Containers and Office Building Rental Overton Brooks VA Medical Center Shreveport, LA Scope The Overton Brooks Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 510 E Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA requires the rental of portable seven (7) refrigerated storage containers to support COVID needs. Specifications Refrigerated Storage Containers Dimensions: 8 W, 40 L, 8 6 W Weather-resistant 100% corrugated, all-steel Tumbler locking system Adjustable Temperature Range from 70°F to negative 20°F Tasks Provide the supervision, manpower, tools, materials, equipment to deliver, level and set up 7 refrigerated units. Portable units to be delivers throughout the medical facility and coordinated by the COR. Delivery & Duration Delivery to be completed within 15 days of contract award. Delivery locations to be coordinated with the COR Prior to delivery. Rental period will be 1 year with an option to extend. Security and General Requirements All on-site work to be completed between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday excluding holidays unless otherwise listed in the tasks section or other working hours are approved by the COR. Parking will be limited to established parking lots. Contractors and personnel are not allowed on the grass area unless specifically authorized by the COR. U.S. District Court Violation Notices will be issued for parking violations. The contractor and all employees to comply with all applicable Alexandria VA Medical Center fire, safety, and traffic regulations. The contractor is to field verify existing conditions. All work is to be performed within all OSHA, EPA, ASME, NFPA, and Federal, State and local codes and regulations. All work, materials, storage of materials and equipment, repair procedures and unforeseen problems or circumstances are to be coordinated with the COR. The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required Place of Performance Work will be performed at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA or in the immediate vicinity as required by this Scope of Work. Upon completion of contract, Contractor to remove portable containers and office trailers from the VA facilities with prior permission from the COR.
