The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) in New Orleans, LA has a requirement for various Agency Nursing Services to eligible beneficiaries. The Contractor shall provide Registered Nurses, RN Med/Surg (Estimate 5 Local /5 Travel RNs), RN Specialty and Extended Care (CLC) (Estimate 10 Local /10 Travel RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (Initial Estimate 6 LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (Estimate 10 CNAs), to include weekends, holiday, evening, and night hours. Local RNs will be defined as any RN’s with a residence within a 50 mile radius of The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) at 2400 Canal St., New Orleans, LA 70119 utilizing Google Maps to look up the most direct route to determine the distance. This requirement period of performance is estimated to include an approximate 7-month Base period and four additional 6-month ordering periods for a total of approximately 2.5 years. The Place of Performance: Contractor shall furnish services at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) at 2400 Canal St., New Orleans, LA 70119. The authority for this procurement is FAR Part 12/15. This requirement has an estimated need date of 9 May 2022. Since the need date is a moving target depending on the date of award the period of performance will run from the date of award through 30 September 2024.
