The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) has a requirement for a Capitated (Per Member/Per Month) Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Franklin, LA, to service St. Mary and Iberia Parishes. The number of veterans requiring Outpatient care will fluctuate and cannot be adequately determined at this time (estimated that there is a population of under 8,000 Veterans in the area). The proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The requirements include but are not limited to the contractor providing primary care services for eligible Veterans in St. Mary and Iberia Parishes. The contractor will be responsible for providing health care providers, medical facilities, equipment and supplies, emergency-fill pharmaceutical prescriptions, and administrative functions to fulfill the level of care and range of services necessary to meet the primary medical needs of enrolled patients. Further, the contractor will be responsible for the administration and management of all aspects of a resultant contract to include all employees, agents, subcontractors and any other entity acting for on behalf of the contractor. The duration of the requirement is anticipated to be a five-year term 10/1/2021 09/30/2026. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 621498. The Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is $22M. The solicitation is projected to be issued on or around March 1, 2021.
