The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) intends to issue and award a sole source firm fixed price single award type contract to INVITAE CORPORATION, located at 1400 16TH STREET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94103-5110, for Invitae Genetics Reference Laboratory, supplies and service at the Michael E DeBakey Medical Center (MEDVAMC). It has been determined that INVITAE CORPORATION is the one , responsible source who can provide this requirement to the MEDVAMC in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements . THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone request will not be honored. No award will be made based on quotes or offers received in response to this notice.
