The NAICS code is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Government Scientific Sources for 10x Genomics Single Cell System. This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price sole source. The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System requires the purchase of a single cell genomics system. This single cell genomics system is crucial for analysis of gene expression patterns in individual cell types from the brains of neurological disorders and their alteration by treatment. The Research Service has been carrying out preclinical research in traumatic brain injury, neuroinflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative disorders with a goal of improving the health of veterans with these disorders.
