STATEMENT OF WORK Online Paramedic course BACKGROUND: The Alexandria VA Medical center Fire Dept recently started an Advance Line Support program and want to convert (2) or more current EMT s to become Paramedics. Class must be online to staffing shortage and we need to provide Advance Life Support to our Veterans and staff. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide an online paramedic course that will allow for personal with the right training and certifications to do online classroom training and clinical time in a local hospital or ambulance service. (within 125 miles) THE CONTRACT IS FOR MUILTIPLE PEOPLE TO ATTEND AN ONLINE COURSE THROUGHT THE NEXT TWO YEARS. THE PARTICAPATS MAY OR MAYNOT BE IN THE SAME CLASS OR CLASSES AND MAY REGESTIER FOR A CLASS WITHIN THE NEXT 2 YEARS. TRAINING SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: TOPICS SET FORTH BY NATIONAL REGISTRY FOR PARAMEDIC Course books and materials Clinical cost Uniform cost- if any is required Testing fee s At end of course the students shall be able to take National registry Paramedic test SERVICES REQUIRED: Keep training hours logged Provide online training program that meets all NREMT-P standards Provide each student with password protected access to the training website Acquire all fees for online training platform Instructor must hold a National Registry Paramedic Licenses Paramedic program must be accredited by CAAHEP (CoAEMSP program 600463). TRAINING OBJECTIVES: Give the participates the training and skills need to become NREMT-P Online Class In person clinicals within 125 mile of Alexandria LA SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall not have access to VA Desktop computers, nor shall they have access to online resources belonging to the government while conducting services. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Online classes should be accessed from anywhere and clinicals should be within 125 miles of Alexandria Louisiana. Special consideration will be taken in consideration if have to travel outside of the 125mile radius.
