DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is currently using the ICARE Tonopens during all ophthalmologic funduscopic examinations with all patients. Results obtained from this device assist with the evaluation of intraocular pressure, which determines if patient is suspect glaucoma or normal, particularly with our diabetic population of veterans.
