Request For Information (RFI) Housekeeping Services for the Beaumont VA Outpatient Clinic The purpose for this Request For Information (RFI) is to locate interested contractors that can furnish the REQUIREMENTS listed in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) that is attached. This RFI seeks contractors with the capability to provide all personnel, supplies (in accordance with the regulations and instructions in this PWS), supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide custodial services in accordance with this PWS. The NAICS code for the procurement is 561720 with a size standard of $19.5M. Responses must show clear and convincing evidence that your company and its employees have the capabilities, training, and qualifications to provide this service to be considered as a source. The Government requires the following questions answered in this notice: Answers that are not provided shall be considered non-responsive to the notice and the contractor shall not be considered as a potential source for market research purposes. Please provide evidence of your company’s capability in order to be determined capable to provide this service. Evidence can be submitted through resumes and certificates of training. The following information is requested in a response to this RFI: 1. Does your company possess the capability to provide the Government required services per the draft PWS to include but no limited to: a. Capability to provide the services requested in the PWS. Provide a short summary of your potential approach to this type of contract and meeting the specific requirements per the draft PWS and your experience managing similar contracts with similar requirements b. Does the prime contractor have an International Executive Housekeeper Association (IEHA) certification? The contractor shall submit their certification by the notice due date with their response. c. Does the prime contractor have a minimum of three (3) years of technical experience performing as the prime contractor in accordance with draft PWS performing housekeeping services for at least two projects? i. The contractor shall not submit information with the prime Contractor’s experience performing as a subcontractor on a contract. d. Does the prime contractor’s technical experience of at least two projects include technical experience projects where the contractor performed as the prime Contractor, completed within the last ten (10) years? i. Does the technical experience include at least a [31,500] square footage facility within the last ten (10) years for all of the prime contractor’s technical experience? ii. The Contractor shall include the title of the project, square footage, contract number, dollar value, description of the project(s), location, and complexity. The prime contractor’s technical experience project(s) must equal at least three years or more of technical experience. e. Does the contractor have an International Executive Housekeeper Association (IHEA) Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) to supervise and train the contracted personnel? i. Does the Executive Housekeeper have at least one (1) year of prior technical experience as a CEH Manager within the last three years? 2 | P a g e Page 2 of 3 ii. The contractor shall provide a copy the IHEA certification with their response. “f. Contractors shall provide an estimated price for all the services listed in the draft PWS. Contractors shall confirm their estimated price is in accordance with the delivery schedule/period of performance for draft PWS. Contractors are encouraged to provide an estimated price for each period of performance.” 2.
