On or about June 15, 2021, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, Houston, Texas, intends to post a solicitation for contractors to provide Community Nursing Home (CHN) Services for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in the Angelina, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Jefferson, Montgomery, and Walker County catchment area. The solicitation will be Full and Open competition. The solicitation will be a single award solicitation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12,13,13.5, and 16.504.

Description of Requirements: Government is seeking contractor to provide Community Nursing Home (CNH) Services based on Medicaid RUG rates as an all-inclusive per diem rate in Houston and surrounding counties listed below: Angelina County Brazoria County Fort Bend County Galveston County Harris County Jefferson County Montgomery County Walker County Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this notice with a statement of interest on a company letterhead. At a minimum, the following information shall be provided: 1. Company Name 2. Company Mailing Address 3. Point(s) of Contact including telephone number(s) & email address(es) 4. Socio-Economic (i.e. Small/Large Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), etc.) as it relates to NAICS Code 623110 Nursing Care Facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities) ($30 Million). 5. Provide a summary of the type of services that your CNH facility provides. 6. Company DUNS number and confirmation that company is registered in System for Award Management, www.sam.gov. 7. Additional information and/or comments. It is the intent of the Government to issue a competitive Single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type solicitation after all market research has been completed.
