Background: Replacement of Emergency Generator at Panama City Beach VA Magnolia Clinic CBOC. The existing emergency generator is nearing End of Life and many repairs have occurred over the past 5 years to keep it operational. Parts are becoming increasingly difficult to purchase and repair time has increased dramatically. 2. Scope: Replacement of the emergency generator at the Panama City Beach VA Magnolia Clinic with a new 350kW emergency generator operating at 208V. The new emergency generator will come with an integral belly fuel oil tank. The new generator will be on skids. Specifics for the emergency generator are listed below. 2. Specifications/Characteristics: Emergency generator rated at 350kW/438kVA. Output amperage: 1214. Diesel generator equipped with a 4M4019 alternator operating at 120/208 volts. Must have UL2200 listing. Voltage: 60Hz, 120/208V, Wye, 3Ph, 4W. Fuel basin (belly tank) included beneath the unit. Fuel tank: NFPA 704 compliant. Include fuel tank vent. Fuel capacity: 1300 gals minimum. Flexible fuel lines. Fuel high level shutoff – spill prevention. Include high fuel level switch. Charge generator with all fluids (coolant, engine oil, fuel oil, etc.). Skid mounted with steel enclosure with sound attenuation. Include free standing stairs and door access.
