The Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC), 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030, is requiring the purchase of 20 Neptune Humidifiers or equivilent with accessories. We need to get at least 20 units of this humidifier to use high flow O2 therapy and non-invasive ventilation support on the G5 ventilators for PUI/COVID patients. If the number of COVID/PUI continues to increase as expecting, we will not be able to high flow oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation at our current inventories on V60 and Arivo inventories. The contingency plan is to use the Hamilton G5 ventilators, but we need these humidifiers to do so.
