SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR Medtronic Bio Pump Motors & Hand Cranks Background: The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is requesting to purchase 2 external drive motors with emergency handcranks. These bio pump blood pumps are used for certain procedures and uses a disposable unit that will not be in produced in the future. The replacement will require the Operative Care Line to change out the motor of the Bio-Pump. The request to purchase two in order to replace the two current ones in use.
