This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY This SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE is for the purpose of Market Research. Response to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals or quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS or QUOTES and NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall NOT be construed as solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 is seeking preferably Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Small Businesses (but will accept other than small business for market research purposes), capable of providing Odor Defense Services. See DRAFT Statement of Work for detailed services. The NAICS code is 561720 Janitorial Services, and the Size Standard is $19.5 million. Responses must be received by no later than 12:00 p.m. Central Time, Wednesday , February 19, 2020. Dispensers shall be owned by the VA for all locations and appearance shall be of a quality and condition acceptable by the VA. We need a Contractor that shall supply fragrance dispensing units that are capable of dispersing non offensive patient sensitive air freshener agent every 30 minutes, will last a minimum of 30 days along with all odor control services to be performed every 30 days, providing a signature fragrance for malodor neutralization at 6 different VA facility locations specified. The color of the fragrance units to be mounted on the wall shall be approved by the VA prior to Contractor ordering. Services shall be provided Monday through Friday, except for federal holidays or any day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a federal holiday. The ten federal holidays observed by the Federal Government are: New Year s Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. s Birthday; Washington s Birthday; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Columbus Day; Veterans Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day, and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a federal holiday There are six facilities to be serviced as follows:
